These free pet SVGs can be used for a range of craft or digital projects.
Most often, I use these pet SVGs and fonts for t-shirts and kids’ clothes with my heat press machine. Every now and again I’ll use them for making decals with adhesive vinyl as well.
While I use the Cricut Maker (or my Air 2 if the mood strikes me), you can also use all the other popular cutting machines from Silhouette to Brother.
Most of these animal SVGs come in a range of file formats suitable for whatever machine you might have.

Etsy doesn’t have free SVGs, but you will find many extremely cheap pet and animal SVG bundles. For example, you’ll see 1000 SVGs for $2 or something like that.
Now, here are 7 awesome sites for FREE animal and pet SVG and DXF cut files, images, fonts, and other digital downloads.
1. Design Bundles Free Animal SVGs
Design Bundles have an awesome range of free pet and animal SVGS, and they’re always changing.
The elephant SVG pictured above is a really intricate design that goes great on a ton of project surfaces.
I’ve often seen it done as a permanent vinyl project.
Design bundles also have:
- Free dog and cat SVGs
- Large animal SVGs like cows, giraffes, and even dinosaurs
- Small pet SVGs like rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils
All the files for download on this site are well-made without any annoying defects that you can come across when cutting.
2. Fontbundles Free Animal Inspired Fonts
I can’t mention Design Bundles without also telling you about their sister site Font Bundles.
At Font Bundles, you will find tons of free fonts, many of which are animal fonts!
This free Flamingo Font is one example of a free animal-style font – it’s pretty cool, right?
I also see:
- Dalmatian fonts
- Rabbit fonts
- Cat and dog paw print style fonts
The freebies at both Design Bundles and Font Bundles don’t stay the same each week, so it’s best to check in every so often and save the ones you like.
3. Creative Fabrica Free Pet SVGs
Creative Fabrica is well known for both their free and premium design resources, and thankfully they have plenty of free pet and animal cut files as well.
Check out their range of:
- Cool free cat SVGs
- Free veterinarian SVGs
- Dog food SVGs
- Bear cut files
- Pet clipart
- Many other animal images for Cricut
If you filter by ‘crafts’ you will be able to see all the SVG files, but they also have free graphics, embroidery files, and fonts as well.
There is also free clipart. Learn how to make stickers using these types of files with a range of different printable sticker paper.
Creative Fabrica’s files are very high quality and you shouldn’t have any problems using them in cutting machines, inkjet printers, sublimation printers, embroidery machines, and so on.
4. Free 3D Pet Cut Files
Dreaming Tree (aka. 3DSVG) is the best place to go for free 3D SVGs for crafting.
They have a bunch of 3D animal and pet SVGs:
- Free Christmas mouse card design
- Thanksgiving turkey card design
- A cat at midnight card
- Bird card 3D cut files
- Cow/milk designs
- Sea life SVGs like starfish and octopus
There is also a fun penguin 3D gift cardholder or plenty of ghosty candy boxes for Halloween season (is a ghost an animal?).
These 3D cut files for Cricut and Silhouette are mostly for making cards, boxes, paper bags, envelopes, and that sort of thing – not 2D cut files for shirts and stickers.
5. Craft Bundles Pet DXF And SVGs
Craft Bundles is another one of my go-to websites for free animal and pet SVGs.
I love their range of freebies which, at the time of writing, includes:
- SVG animals
- Rabbit SVGs
- Dog and cat silhouette SVGs
- Dog and cat outline SVGs
- Squirrel, panda, fox, and monkey cut files
Along with everything else!
Like most of these sites, the range is always shifting and changing, so you’ve got to keep checking back to see what’s new.
6. Love SVG Free Cricut Images
Love SVG is famous for their amazing array of over 7000 free SVGs.
A whole lot of them are animal, pet, and insect SVGs.
Just navigate to your desired category or search for your favorite animal.
I’m really into honey bees at the moment and found many cut files relating to them.
All of Love SVGs cut files are free and you only need to pay if you are going to be using them commercially – and this license doesn’t cost much either!
7. Printable Cuttable Creatables For Cricut
Printable Cuttable Creatables have some really beautiful designs for free.
Animal and pet SVGs include:
- Turtle SVGs
- Aquarium and fish SVGs
- Bunny SVGs
- Unicorn SVGs
Even a bunny crossed with a unicorn SVG!
And I’m not sure if mermaids fall into the animal or pet category, but they have those as well!
Visit them for piles of unique and creative pet and animal SVG files for Cricut and Silhouette.
Etsy Premium Animal SVGs
Etsy has got to be the best place to buy pet and animal SVG bundles.
The range of options blows the mind and makes choosing the right bundle difficult (a good problem to have I think)!
Types of animal SVG bundles I see:
- Dog print SVGs
- Dog quote SVGs
- Cat image cut files
- Jungle animal images for Cricut and Silhouette
- African animal SVG packs
While these a paid SVGs, they really are cheap – you can see the dog SVG bundle pictured above is only a couple of dollars for 60 cut files.
The other benefit is that they generally come with a commercial license, so if you want to sell anything you make you’re safe!
